Jan. 31, 2007Today's comic is actually only 1/3 of what I drew, but it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it to, so I cropped the hell out of it. My drawing process is a little weird. I actually start the comic before I'm even sure how I'm going to end it. Believe it or not, I'm usually more satisfied with the final product when I don't know how I'll end it, so although it's a messy system, it works well for me. Anyways, I know it's not particularly clever, but I had fun drawing facial expressions on the anal-retentive English-writer fellow. That and I genuinely get irritated at people that actually take the time to gripe about people that spell 'alot' as a single word; so I decided I'd make a point on how stupid it really is to whine about. lan·guage noun any set or system of such symbols as used in a more or less uniform fashion by a number of people, who are thus enabled to communicate intelligibly with one another. All I have to say is if people can understand what you're saying, then who gives a shit.
